The Port of Tacoma’s Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP) provides the framework for addressing emergencies and major disasters by focusing on mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.
The plan aligns the Port’s organizational structure with the National Incident Management System. It reflects the Port's commitment to protecting life and safety, sustaining essential functions, preserving property and the environment, and supporting the continuity of maritime commerce.
